Collaborative learning is an instruction method in which students work together to accomplish
a specific goal. In this method students are provided freer activities focused
on their social skills development. They are also responsible for their own
learning and their peers’ one as well. Proponents of collaborative learning
claim that the active exchange of ideas within small groups not only increases
interest among the participants but also promotes critical thinking.
